Connex offers several different models of CB and 10 meter radios. Connex radios are very well designed and are value-priced for the cost-focused consumer. Connex offers base CB radios in four lines: the 3300, the 4300, the 4600 Turbo and the 4800.
The Connex 3300 model is a 10 meter AM/FM amateur radio with 6 bands of operation. It includes an illuminated S/RF meter, side mounted mic jack, receive/transmit indicator, factory talkback on with echo and high/low output. Controls include: volume, squelch, mic gain, RF gain, PA/FM/AM, echo level & time controls. It comes with a one year warranty. The 3300 HP model is basically the same as the 3300 model, but includes a front mount mic jack. The 3300 HP Rebel model features a faceplate painted with a rebel flag design. The 3300 HP Patriot model has an American flag faceplate.
The Connex 4300 includes the HP-300 model and the CX HP model. The CX HP has 50+ watts after performance tune up. It has a blue meter light and LED display as well as a front mic jack. It features a AM/FM transceiver and 6 bands of operation. A rebel flag model is available. The HP-300 model offers very high output of 300 watts after a performance upgrade. This model uses four high output 1446 finals for more output.
The Connex 4600 Turbo model is a high output unit pumping out 150 watts after a performance upgrade. This model incorporates two high output 2SC2290 finals to get this performance output.
The Connext 4800DXL is their latest model 10 meter radio. This model offers 10 watts maximum power output AM and 25 watts maximum power output on SSB. It includes a "roger beep" with on/off switch as well as a red/green transmit LED. This model has a small meter with scales for signal strength SWR and power output.
