Uniden's Bearcat Pro PC68LTW and PC78LTW models are much like the PC78ELITE but they include a built in weather alert feature. When this is activated, the user is notified instantly by NOAA weather signal of inclement conditions. They have extra long mic cords and backlit control knobs for ease of use.

Uniden's Pro538W line has the same compact design features as the Pro510XL, but also includes NOAA Weather Channels and instant channel 9 access.
